There are some history of events which was performed in era of internet-:
- 1957 : The USSR launches sputnik the first artificial earth satellite.In response the United States forms the Advanced Research project agency (ARPA)
- 1965 : The first network experiment takes place two computers are connected vto each other by using packet-switching technology. The experiment was conducted by Larry Roberts at the MIT lincoln lab.
- 1966 : The ARPA project begins with Larry Roberts as its cheif scientist.
- 1969 : ARPA goes online in December connecting four major US universities.
- 1972 : "E-mail" Electronic mail is introduced by computer scientist "Ray Tamlinson".
- 1973 : TCP/IP is Designed, which is 1983 became the standard for communicating between two computers over the internet.
- 1976 : Queen Elizabeth sends her first e-mail.
- 1984 : Domain name system (DNS) is established with network addresses identified by extensions , such as ".com", ".org", and ".edu".
- 1988 : A virus called the internet worm, unleashed by robert morris , temporary shut down 10% of the world internet servers.
- 1994 : The white house launches its website "www.whitehouse.gov".
- 1996 : Approx. 45 million people are using the internet.
- 1998 : Google opens its first office in California.
- 2002 : Now the number of internet users worldwide reaches 544.2 million.
- 2006 : There are more than 92 million websites live online.
- 2009 : The internet is used by 1.114 billion people's.
- 2011: The internet was used by 2.095 billion people's.
